Canobie Lake Timber Flag Presented to Governor Sununu

 

 A flag from the Canobie Lake Timber Project was presented to New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu on July 16, 2020.

Timbers raised from Canobie Lake following laying at the Lake’s bottom  for 80 years have been repurposed into American Flags a team of wood preservation professionals and Master Sergeant (ret.) Ryan Baker, US Army Special Ops Green Beret, who operates Stafford, Virginia, “Old Glory Flag Company.”   The projected, spearheaded by Al Letizio, Jr, Owner of A.J. Letizio Sales and Marketing, is part of a larger mission to set up a nonprofit organization to create precious artisan crafted wooden pieces to commemorate the Hurricane of 1938. They would donate 100% of the proceeds to benefit Windham, NH charitable causes and they will fund the production.
